The Olympics was fading in relevance with Tokyo’s viewership hitting an all-time low. The Olympics needed to reach a new generation of fans, and fast, ahead of the Paris 2024 Games.

The Problem:

The Olympics was fading in relevance with Tokyo’s viewership hitting an all-time low. The Olympics needed to reach a new generation of fans, and fast, ahead of the Paris 2024 Games. We partnered with Peacock on a new approach, turning athletes into influencers by focusing on the culture of the games. The result? Paris became the most streamed Olympics of all time.

During the Paris Olympics, I served as a part of the "always on" team, taking on a multifaceted role encompassing concept development, production, asset copy, and quality assurance. I led creative initiatives to capture the energy and excitement of the Games ensuring every post from soup to nuts resonated with Peacock's style and Olympic spirit.

The results in a nutshell, were BONKERS:

  • 293+ pieces of original content created

  • 500,000 new followers

  • 497% increase in video views
